This said, with the "old" system it is by invitation only and should certainly not be asked for. I think asking even reduces the probability you get it. In my case I never asked for it and even after having requalified (as always) just got it in December 2019. And all this not being 60 years old yet. There must be another algorithm around .

P.S. This is my 2000th post on FT and I would like to thank all fellow FTalkers for their kindness and especially oliver2002, who as a very competent and European orientated moderator, made me stay with FTalk which avoided being a too much US American centric forum.
