Until IB decides which airframe is flying your route that day, the seat map won't open up.
That is not consistent with the last 3 years I have booked. I book 12 months in advance and was always able to choose seats the moment after I booked. That web page I posted above is where I could choose seats but it was always tricky to get to. I believe it was only available if accessing from the Spanish site and even then, last year it was a struggle to get to open. The "normal" page that opens under manage my booking never allowed me to choose seats.
Can anyone access that web page I posted above?
