I got super excited when I received an email from Amex earlier today about a new feature where Paypal and Venmo payments made through the Amex app will have the credit card fee waived. However, when I went to the app to check it out, there was a warning that these payments will not earn rewards. I'm not sure if I get the point (no pun intended) of this feature. Am I missing something?
