What is unclear is whether even if vaccinated you can still transmit the virus to others, if this is the case then it would be even more advantageous.
JVT confirmed that it does, they just don't know to what extent yet so are playing it safe. Their releasing lockdown timetable makes sense, 3 weeks after everyone in the top 4 risk groups get the jab and have had the chance to acquire quite a bit of immunity.
