The pandemic that is famously known as the Black Death set the ground for a so-called golden age of prosperity in the 1400s, a prosperity that followed the massive mobility and trade disruptions that hit during the very deadly pandemic.

This pandemic is no Black Death, but that doesn't mean that this pandemic can't be followed by an economic boom of sorts too as a result of different patterns of socio-economic behavior flowing from pandemic-period disruptions to mobility and trade.

When the pandemic seems to be coming under control in the US, then these restrictions to mobility and trade won't be what they are today.
