I just flew BK-NRT in F (NH 916 on 9 Oct). Got a very nice pair of easy pair of pants but no 'top'.
When I returned to my seat after having changed back to my own pants the FA said 'I am very sorry but please give it back to me, we will be re-using them, this is the new system'. My face must have shown surprise as after touch-down the chief purser came around with a pair of their new pants in a duty free back saying 'please take it with you but don't spread the word'
The wool cardigans are still available during flight.
I am not sure if this new rule only applies to the BKK route or if it is introduced on their long hauls trans siberean and transpacs
