I have a Travel rewards card and have a large estimated tax payment that I'm expecting to get a good amount of points on. To redeem it I'll probably make some restaurant purchases since I've been using "travel" category for CSR credit (taking much longer than typical years), but I'm not sure if I have the restaurant category on my Travel rewards card for redemption right now available to me.
I don't see it anywhere in the portal. In the past, I've only redeemed it for actual travel coded purchases. Fwiw Im a wealth management client, so perhaps related to me missing this redemption option.
Is it confirmed to be available for everyone, and is extended past 12/31/2020? Last I saw on DoC the original offer only seemed to be for 2020.

To answer my own question, I made a small Doordash charge on my TR card and I'm able to see the charge as an option to redeem my points on in the Rewards portal, meaning restaurant redemptions still work. This is awesome, I will probably pay more taxes this year and redeem it on restaurants!
