The thread says the property was marketed right so you'd need to take this up with Bookings.com and/or the hotel..
That being said, I doubt Amex will be of much help. I had a poor experience with Amex using AmexTravel a few years back when I booked with it and the hotel listing was very wrong on what was included and I found out when I got here. Called Amex since I booked through them (Amex Travel website) as the hotel said it wasn't their mistake. Amex didn't help in the slightest even though they acknowledged their mistakes in the listing. I was traveling for work so I didn't really have the luxury of wresting about the issue so after a couple of hours getting politely told to kick rocks on their errors I've written off their website.
It was enough to make me not care for that card feature though so...
