OP has one legitimate concern and one concern only. That is a leaky shower. The rest stems from his own failure to read the booking site he chose to use. OP chose a service apartment, received a service apartment and was reminded that he was checking into a service apartment. To suggest that the property did anything wrong in that regard or to initiate a chargeback is simply wrong. We all make mistakes and OP made one here. Not the end of the world, but we have to accept our own mistakes and move on.
The shower seems to be a separate issue. Perhaps if OP focused solely on that issue with management and stayed away from his mistake, this would be better resolved.
