Thrifty ala-carte or Main or First.

I know everyone wants to be thrifty but technically purchasing First class outright pays for seat assignment, two suitcases, AS lounge visit, priority check-in and boarding, beverage and food of choice (when available), all bundled in the fare. Wallet funds, while cant be used to up-fare, people should use it for outright purchase F. Some recent F fares are really cheap of late, purchasing F might be a better bargain if checked baggage might be involved.

Just another way to using wallet funds toward better inclusive travel.

PS- between pdx and sea, fares might be $49 basic, $69 main, $89 F. Id take $89F for all the bundles. Between ord and sea, $69 basic, $89 main, $169 First. Even this F is reasonable if baggage check will be involved.
