I live in Atlanta and so it was close enough to drive to. It made headlines a few weeks ago when two idiots parachuted off the rooftop bar.

Anyways, it's a premiere hotel in Nashville. That's a pro and a con. The con being that there were lots of non-hotel guests that came in just to check out the hotel and get something from the bar. That made it crowded and there was no enforcement of face masks. I went to get a drink with the wife and baby, but quickly turned around because I felt unsafe. Lol, even tried to go to the rooftop bar but that was worse as it was a singles hangout that's more of a club with nobody caring anything about COVID.

I got upgraded to their executive suite on the 15th floor. Room 1531. It had a gorgeous view of the clock tower. All the furniture, amenities, and technology were top notch. They gave 2x Fuji 1 liter bottles which was nice. The floor to ceiling windows were fantastic. The couches in the living room were not sofa beds though.

Parking is valet only. It costs $45/night! However, b/c of the current promotion, it's free parking even for paid stays. One note... I was told they had two electric car charges and I got to the hotel with 8 miles left. Then the valet staff told me theirs were not operational yet. So it was stressful to try to find something in downtown Nashville with the Supercharger not being close enough. They called around and allowed me to charge at the Thompson hotel, which is less than 1 mile away. But still, it was not a good situation.

I went on a paid stay instead of using points. It's a category 5 hotel, so 20,000 points. Even with the 25% discount, it's not worth it for me. Especially because the paid stays were so cheap. The rate was $179/night for a king. But I paid $229/night to get the dinner included, which would be at their restaurant, The Nashville Grange. The T&C said it's for two entrees and one appetizer. I would surely spend more than the $50 extra that I paid for the package. Also, as a globalist, they gave me free breakfast at the Nashville Grange... with no limits! =) The food was great as it's a full service, premiere restaurant. Service was fantastic. For breakfast, I got lattes, freshly squeezed orange juice, grapefruit torched with sugar, steak and eggs, and they even came by and gave our table a globalist appetizer (waffle with strawberries) to recognize us. For the two breakfasts, they easily cost more than $100 each with them also taking care of the gratuity! For dinner, even though the T&C said 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, we ordered 2 appetizers and also some extra sides. Those were all taken care of. I did have to pay for gratuity. When I added up all my breakfast and dinner receipts, the food costs were nearly $600 for the two night. I paid $509 for the two nights, which was the dinner rate and included the taxes and fees. So I ate more than the paid room rate, plus got upgraded to the executive suite!!!

Unfortunately, the fantastic looking heated outdoor pool with lounge chairs in the pool was closed because of some type of pool maintenance error. That sucks b/c it would've been awesome to sit in a heated pool in downtown Nashville.

Last note... even though I told them that globalists get a free suite upgrade on the check-in date, the hotel used up my suite upgrade award! That was annoying. But I emailed Hyatt concierge and they fixed it within in a day.

Great review and photos! How were you able to book a King for only $179 (without dinner) when you had 3 adults and 1 child? All that shows up for me is 2 queens =(
