I’ve tried on line for days. After I select the buddy pass and go to book, the page just spins and goes nowhere.
I called Air Canada, they said it needs to be booked through the cc company. I called aeroplan and they said AC needs to book it. Some agents don’t even know what it is.
Just login to your account on aircanada.com - do a flight search with 2 passengers, then you'll see an option to apply the Buddy Pass to the results. Using the REDEEM - and SEARCH when clicking on the Buddy Pass through the Dashboard Aeroplan page does just spin at the moment.

Not sure what you mean by "called Air Canada" - "called aeroplan" - they are one and the same? Do you mean called the Credit Card issuer? Regardless, Buddy Pass is obviously booked through AC only.
