Curious what others think? I don't believe either option is fantastic, but the opinions of those with experience would be helpful. Which has better business class service, comfort/product, and reliability? These would be daytime flights (don't want to fly overnight on A320 or 737). CM does not have a 737 Max on this route. MVD to BOG or PTY (then connect to MDE) is 7ish hours (scheduled) on either, so picking the most comfortable and best service is important. I have never flown on CM. I have flown on AV long haul a few times (787 and A330). I was not impressed with AV service (with the exception of one AV Brasil crew, but unfortunately they no longer exist). My prior experience with AV has me leaning towards CM. I have looked at a few online reviews. I can't really see much difference (maybe there is none).

Any advice from those with experience with both AV and CM business class on the A320 and 737 would be appreciated.
