Had to dig around a bit, which is always interesting (although a bit time consuming), and I found that Trans Maldivian has an ICAO code of TMW (rather than the expected TMA). On Wikipedia there is no IATA code given and the IC resort is not listed as a destination, so what I am writing here is arguably really off topic, given the discussion is focused on the IC resort itself.

Could it be that the Wikipedia article is a bit out of date, maybe because this Intercontinental resort is quite new? I will look further up the thread to remind myself if this resort existed previously under another name, which might be given in that Wikipedia list. After a bit of further digging, I found from CAPA that TMA does have an IATA code in fact: M8. This implies that each flight to the resorts would carry an individual flight number.
