Does anyone have recent experience how long this process currently takes, i.e. when will the money be back on the credit card?

The refund process is automated again, in late October I got my refund in two working days. You have to call in though, don't click on any links in the email.
I had 2 of my 4 flights cancelled by Lufthansa in November with no possibility of rebooking. I can confirm that clicking on the cancellation/refund request link in the email does nothing. When I called customer service 1 week later they said they have no record of a refund request, but the ticket change does qualify for a full refund and they took my refund request over the phone. When I called to follow up on that refund 6 weeks later they told me it takes 12 weeks to get it and they confirmed the request is in the system. I am currently on my 9th week of waiting....
