Yokohama Air Cabin (official website not open yet) will start service on April 22 this year. Yokohama Air Cabin is a ropeway with gondolas each carrying 8 people connecting between JR Sakuragicho station and Unga Park (Canal Park in Yokohama Minato Mirai area, where a big Ferris wheel, Red Brick Warehouse, and Cup Noodle Museum are located). Yokohama Air Cabin will carry people over 630 m (690 yards) of distance at the height of 40 m (130 ft.) in five minutes. Yokohama Air Cabin will operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a fare of 1000 yen (US$ 9.63 or 7.92 Euro) per adult.

Alright..., nothing against Yokohama Air Cabin but unlikely I will pay 1000 yen to carry me over 630 m... If I want a view from above then Cosmo Rock Ferris wheel at the Canal Park will take me up to 112.5 m (370 ft.) of height with cost of 900 yen, and Sky Garden at the Yokohama Landmark Tower will take me up to 69th floor, 273 m (896 ft.) of height with cost of 1000 yen.
