I think all you can do is wait for CR to see if they will do something here. A refund for a cancellation is an appropriate remedy, and at least you haven't lost out in that respect. The other remedy would be to be rebooked to the next available flight, currently on 15 February. The rest however is down to BA's guidelines, which BA can amend or cancel as it wishes.
