As this is an involuntary cancellation under standard guidelines I think you need reward availability on the IB flights to move over to them. I can't see any specific covid rebooking policies which change that. However, because of the nature of the MAD-LHR route I suspect you may have some success either using rebooking on the disruption tool on MMB or if you call.
