Booked a flight to Japan for the Olympics, but it looks like they may not happen. I hadn't jumped for CFAR at the time, and now I'm pretty SOL, so I was wondering if it's possible to cancel the original flight (United), use the travel credit to book a new flight, then grab CFAR for the new flight, allowing me to cancel if there's an official Olympic cancellation announcement?

Any thoughts on whether this would be viable?
