I downgraded from my BAPP to the Blue BA Amex a week ago, and I still have a few weeks left on my Amex membership year.

I've already earned my companion voucher this membership year. But now, on my account page, I see a new countdown to a companion voucher saying if I spend another £2k this membership year (ie £20k in total) I'll earn a companion voucher. I've got a few weeks to achieve it and was thinking of buying a new laptop anyway, so I could potentially hit the target.

Does anyone think this is a glitch, or might it work and give me another voucher? I know from the past that these things are automatically triggered; I've accidentally received two in a BAPP year before, and Amex couldn't do anything about it when I was honest enough to point it out.
