I booked a flight with the 50% Avios NCE-ATL-MCO-NCE via LHR for March. The leg NCE-LHR has been cancelled yesterday and I guess the travel ban will be in effect for a longer time.
So I called this morning to check if I can postpone my travel to Nov (if possible by the rules with this promotion ) or a least to June and they told me over the phone that with the 50% promotion I can only postpone free of charge and no diff in Avios by 2 weeks which doesn't work as there are no NCE-LHR flights to get the ATL one until late April. So I was suggested to have a night at LHR in a quarantine Hotel.
Did I get wrong information or did the rules just changed for the 50% promotion ?
