Basically I missed a connection due to delay in immigration and and my last connection was also missed due to that. Flight was on Air canada which was missed and the later connection was on United. AC said I need to talk to lifemiles to make change to flight and lifemiles told it is their change department who can make the change. Been on 5+ hrs hold with change department could not get hold of them. Next day after 3+ hrs hold got hold of them and agent told they cannot even change flight as first leg was used. Talked to lifemiles again and they said change can be made and pointed partially used ticket policy on avianca.com. Still on hold trying to talk to change department in order to change my flight to get to my destination.
Flight was Edmonton (AC) - Vancouver (AC)- San Franciso (United) - Delhi. Flight missed due to immigration was from Vancouver
