My partner in November got his result as he walked out of KOA and was then able to present the results and cleared quarantine. Just had a friend fly back and forth from SFO OGG-SFO because he claims they told him without results mandatory quarantine. Not sure if she is going to fly back tomorrow with airport test now but this seems strange and I had not heard this "new" twist. If this is indeed the case the wiki needs updating. FWIW, this was an OGG arrival if that matters. Needless to say I plan, per usual, to have results in had from trusted lab but just curious.
There are so many forums touching on the subject of flying to Hawaii on FT I can’t keep track of what is where. That being said, I read about this fact sometime in December. Do all of the people follow it? Unknown. But the rule is a deterrent for those that received positives while mid-flight. I don’t blame them for having the rule.
