Stayed here after reading everybody's positive comments. Was impressed indeed. Altho the room is just okay the staff here is lovely. Very nice and esp. the breakfast lady is really an asset. And indeed such a nice touch to get a stroopwafel can at check-in. As we all know at 85+% of hilton's you dont't get much unless you are in Asia so it's a real nice gesture. Even as a Dutch person myself i enjoy it but i can imagine foreign tourists being real happy to get a local gift. Much better then the fruit you sometimes get and probably most of the times doesn't even gets touched/eaten.

Paid 43EUR in corona times plus 25 for parking. Parking garage is small and if full maybe a little challenging. I think there is space for about 8 cars. Hotel has also rental bikes available which might come handy if you don't take the public transport as it's a bit off the central area of Ams. There is a outdoor shopping area closeby with a supermarket and food outlets and snackbar nearby,. In COVID times you can also have thuisbezorgd/uber/deliveroo delivered to the hotel reception who will call you when it arrives.

Will probably stay again. During covid times only tho if price stays below the 70 euro'ish level.
