S$450 is a no minimum stay 1 year Y booking class fare. You should be able to get a S$300 E class fare(min stay 2 days, max 14 days) or a S$350 B class fare (min stay 1 day, max 30 days) if you play around with flight options. Note that you are unlikely to get an E fare on SQ974 on Sunday night. Same goes for BKK-SIN: SQ69 on Friday night and SQ61 on most days fills up on E booking class very fast.

You're right those fares are available but I need to leave SIN after 20:00 (there is a 20:30 departure, TG leaves 20:55) and return 30/11 after 17:00. There is a 18:30 departure again (TG leaves around 18:00) but that prices out at $513 including taxes ($450 ex). TG has the good flight times for $335 (ex) but I'd need a TA who can send me the ticket.
I just spoke with Misa (their email system is very poor - most emails bounce back, and the TA who helped was not particularly friendly or efficient - she had my travel times and quoted me prices but then when I rang (from NZ), she found that 'actually they're not available' - Duh!), but they charge S$80 to send the ticket overseas. They only send it by Fedex or another courrier. I could pick up the ticket at the airport but they don't do that...looks like it might be an expensive little flight...
Sometimes I wish wasn't addicted to traveling...
