I also flew DEN-SEA in August and it boarded through 1L. The Pursor, who was a long time flight attendant mentioned that the gate we were at was one of a few (or maybe the only one?) were they had to use 1L on the 757. I want to say it was Gate 36, which does not have a gate next to it, so it may have a different jetway. It kind of sucked as we had F DEN-SEA and SEA-ORD and both were 757's that used 1L.
