Another idea is a ride to to the Hughes Center (takes about 10 minutes by taxi). Mrs. Mach and I did this a couple years ago during a long layover.

You don't need a Taxi (if want save some money), you can Parking lot B bus for FREE, Pround Bird is next to lot B.

Also in International Terminal is The Daily Grille, a local full service cafe/restaurant is nice for traditional American, and I also like Sushi Boy, and the Ramen (Japanese noodles) place
