I think this was the post that got me to book The Walk. So far, it's been a disappointing experience. Perhaps the GM changed. I'm Diamond status and I booked during my birthday. I only got a slight upgrade to the room and the hotel feels very cheap and dated. The lifts take ages and multiple things in the room are broken. They also don't provide robes or slippers.
Would not recommend this place.
Yep, that was my experience when we stayed there. Basic, somewhat dated & really just a place to lay our heads & get a shower. Too few elevators & mediocre facilities, after all it was never intended to be a hotel as its a converted apartment building in the dreadful JBR plaza buildings. I agree, one should avoid the place as there are so many better options!
