Is there a best practice for increasing your chances of receiving a retention offer? Maybe to put some spend on the card then start asking about offers a few weeks before AF actually posts?
Spend on card is a no-brainer...that's how issuers make a profit. Retention offers are most likely tied to extending the profitability you've already demonstrated as a customer (i.e., spend).
