Originally FS owned all of their properties (starting with the Inn on the Park in Toronto). Then they decided to sell them and invest elsewhere; dont know current stats but very few if any hotels are owned by FS. But they have management contracts with total control, so in terms of running the hotel it is the same as if they were company owned (unlike most other management contracts).
