Arrived at about 2:00PM to a fairly full executive aisle. Looking for AWD/4WD options there were thankfully several as well as the usual mix of Camrys and Chargers. The crossovers and SUVs that had Colorado plates were almost all AWD/4WD. The ones from other states were largely a mix, for example there was a Dodge Journey with CO plates that was AWD and one with MO plates that was not. I ended up walking down the aisle between where the vehicles were backed in so I could see what was AWD/4WD and what was not.

In summary:
  • 1x Toyota 4Runner (beaten to the punch by another renter, they were loading it up)
  • 1x Toyota Highlander XLE AWD (same, nabbed by someone else)
  • 1x Jeep Wrangler (what I took)
  • Jeep Compases (several, most had 4WD)
  • Dodge Journey (several, some with AWD)
  • GMC Terrain (mix of AWD and FWD)
  • Usual mix of Camrys and Chargers
When I returned the Jeep on 1/11 the returns section was pretty backed up and the Executive aisle was really cleared out! So time of day and day of week is a factor as well.
Thanks for the update, sounds like you can at least find AWD in the Exec aisle even if it doesn't have many bells and whistles. Though landing at 5:00p on a Friday may mean some of the options are cleared out.
