Someone well known to me was conditionally approved and when they got to the interview they were asked about an arrest many years ago that they forgotten about. It doesn't appear in any other records except there's and there was no documentation about it. It took moving heaven and earth to get the county in question to handover the bits of information they did have from an arrest back in the 70s. So don't count on them not not seeing it.
