You may upgrade only part of a stay. Many bloggers do this so that they can write about more than one room type. They seem to have inspired a trend among non-bloggers as well.

The website seems to allow it. And there's a sofa where the third person could sleep. If you have Hilton gold/diamond status, though, your benefits wouldn't extend to the third person.

There was a post some pages back about this because Qatar was requiring it. The resort physician will collect a sample from you and have the paperwork ready in time for your departure. (I'd confirm this directly with the resort before traveling, if I were you.)
