Maybe it's just flyertalkers who are impacted. And might I add that the technicals aren't limited to BA, not that they don't have their share. Heck, I'll have to do my best to recall through a Champagne-induced haze but I believe that I've only had 1 flight in the last 10 in F over the last few month that didn't have either a seat or IFE problem across CX, BA, and QF. At the end of the day, I just gave up and let that lovely man chat me up while sluming on the upper-deck.

Who needs movies when the whole in-flight crew are playing a scene just for me!
Seriously though, the fact that there was some piece of failing equipment in almost every case on longhaul flights is somewhat disappointing. I've only had a few problems on the intra-europe fleet x-ZRH but that has been quickly made a non-issue by BA's excellent ZRH ground staff.
