When Uber first started they were paying their drivers a fair compensation They got to be cheap with their drivers and started dropping fares and also the drivers comp. Seeing fares are lower I tend to tip better now. My friend that drives for Uber also says non tippers get lower ratings from him.

I know it's like not tipping a hotel housekeeper, a lot of people feel they shouldn't have to tip.
