There are no change fees on all tickets issued by TK and this includes *A awards; if a higher class opens up you would be able to pay the difference in miles and taxes and upgrade your flight however that upgrade could be a bit painful as it might require multiple HUACA's or a visit to a physical TK sales office/airport ticket counter.

Yes, but forget about that option; too complicated and you will spend endless amount of time trying to get it solved. Then easier to cancel and rebook if you really must be in C/J.
