Am I crazy?
Are you all serious? While we all may like to think that our rooms are ultra-secure, I don't think hubby will have any difficulty getting a key to his wife's room. We've all locked ourselves out of our rooms before, and how tough was it to get another key? Heck, I'm alarmed at the number of times I'm able to get a second key without even showing ID. A simple "Mr. Meatloaf in 306; I locked my key in my room" and the front desk clerk is punching in a key code for a new card. With an ID with the same last name that is on the reservation, I don't see him having any trouble getting a room key.
You may want to tip off the wife regardless. You never know what might be going on while she's on the road, and it'd be a shame for hubby to walk into a situation tha would disappoint him... whether its as simple as an unkept room, or something more significant.
