In May the price drops to $268/night.
This doesn't meet the price criteria mentioned in the first post, but I believe some properties have gotten rid of the F&B credit, making the rate less attractive anyway.
Yes, the F&B credit was actually never a core part of the Work From Hyatt rate. Some properties offered it but many (most?) didn't. Some of those who
did offer it no longer do (e.g. Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen started out with a $50 per day credit at the start of November, then changed the rate mid November so that it didn't include any F&B credit).
There's also a lot of inconsistency in how properties are handling the "separate, private workspace" as part of the Work From Hyatt rate. Some are really pushing the boundaries by not even offering a private space (instead directing people to common areas like a Grand Club), others are giving true office/conference room space and some are giving a separate guestroom (and not necessarily the same guestroom throughout your stay - e.g. Andaz Mayakoba tries to allocate out rooms each morning rather than letter you, by default, leave your things in the same room for the entirety of your stay).
In most cases I don't think the Work From Hyatt rate is necessarily good value it if you're a globalist (where you already get waived resort fees, free breakfast, room upgrade, etc) and where there's a premium being charged for the WFH rate vs. member rate. Maybe if you're travelling with kids in the same room then the private workspace makes a big difference.
