I've stayed at the one in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, which has a full hot breakfast in the main restaurant every day, but it's expensive, so $10 wouldn't be enough to cover it. But, there is also a coffee shop and two bars on site, so there are plenty of ways to get your money's worth out of the $10.
Overseas, particularly in Asia, many Courtyard properties do have full breakfast for elites. Outside US/Canada, if the CY property has a lounge, they have to offer breakfast in the lounge, or if the lounge is closed, breakfast in the restaurant. Same lounge access guarantee as brands like JW.
