No.

You are literally trying to execute a will of a deceased. Assuming Delta allows it in its discretion, you still need to get that will processed.

FWIW - the terms only mention a "mostly no", but not an "absolutely no" situation. The terms do leave out "in Delta's discretion".

So if a person asks nicely, Delta may oblige. Bottom line - difficult, but possible.
