So no offense to LoungeLizardHugo, but we had a very different experience. In fact we loved every aspect of our stay at the Thompson Zihuatanejo (and we've stayed at nearly every Hyatt resort in North America and the Caribbean). That's not to say we don't love the Cape or enjoy Andaz Mayakoba, but the Thompson Zihuatanejo is a much more intimate resort and the being able to walk steps from your room to the beach was fantastic.
