times are changing and also personal circumstances are changing...
20-25 years ago during my initial years in Thailand and when I was living in Bangkok, I was never wearing shorts in Bangkok except at the pool...
Nowadays I am wearing them outside and even in lounges of 4 star hotels (not in 5 stars)....
