I was considering it as a remote working location - did you happen to notice what then desk/seating setup was like?
Typical Hyatt Place work area with a small/medium desk and chair adjacent to the TV. If you Google "Hyatt Place room", the work area that you see in most of the pics is what you will find at HP Los Cabos.
I will also add, the front desk staff were extremely courteous and professional but they were quite reluctant to upgrade me to an ocean view room, even with Discoverist status and low occupancy. YMMV.
