As you are shipping the "good" stroller, recommend you purchase a cheap umbrella stroller & bag. Strollers do not do well in aircraft holds. No matter how much care is taken, they get bruised, battered and semi-inoperable. That is true whether you spend $30 or $300. Thus, spend the $30. It will most likely get you through your journey and may even be available as a backup for other trips once you are settled. There is also less to go wrong with these items and they are easy to transport on both ends of your journey.
