I know you're right and depressed was the wrong term, should be more like "Oh for (insert profanity here)". I always travel in the J cabin on long haul anyway.
I had permission from my wife to take this trip in order to test the water with both the F experience and travel to the US post current restrictions. Yes I'm ever the optimist.
The tier points will also come in handy. I would renew Silver if they don't give another extension. Year end is August.
Anyway that's enough of my sad story of woe.
