I believe when you buy exlusive resorts membership, you buy conveniences such as multiple locations with no property taxes and any ownership related issues. You just buy membership.

When you buy fractional ownerhisp such Ritz-Carlton, you are still resposible for taxes, which is not significant. For me, I always liked the Ritz-Carlton Hotels' services. Also I would like to have an opportunity for price appreciation. That's why I bought Ritz-Carlton Club.

I do have a freind who is now selling his 2 bedroom penthouse at Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch Colorado. He enjoyed the property and now selling it with price appreciation.

I believe it is a smart way enjoying luxury vacations.
