Also there is "pooling testing". Not sure how it works but you share the five swabs of five family members and into one test if all negative then fine. (I guess if positive then you could test one by one or assume all are positive and the family needs to quarantine). I don't know how many can share a pooling test but if you could test a whole aircraft with only a few tests.....
Sounds like a reasonable idea but keep in mind I know three families who have had a cold case that has not spread to the rest of the family. So a part family break could be voided using this option.
