I'd have thought it would absolutely be in BA's interest to make it as easy as possible for their customers to access the information - or even partner locally with testing providers in their key destinations. That could tip quite a few decisions on whether to fly with BA (or fly at all). I'm sure some airlines will do this and BA will end up following.
We wish...but Many, many actions that would have been in BA’s best interest and to keep profitable customers happy have historically been not taken by BA (this forum is an encyclopedia of such inactions)
