Totally agree. Whilst this is a travel forum the ethos that it’s unlikely you will get fined and it’s only £200 if you leave yiur home illegally to travel to the airport is shocking as is the yes I’ll work when I’m there or books property viewing.

I want to travel as much as the rest of us, have had 3 trips cancelled this week. The appeal of trying to find somewhere when away for a test prior to returning to the UK doesn’t appeal to me so just going to hold out until my trip is cancelled or apply for an FTV.
