Sf has a nice thai restaurant called Kin Khao! Maybe it’s the same as Kin Kao!
OT - but I hope u think it's worth it.
Kin Khao is owned by
Pim Techamuanvivit who also owns Nari - she has been a prolific blogger for years and posted many authentic and wonderful Thai recipes before her current incarnation -her recipe for Pad Thai can still be found by a search from when she was blogging as chezpim.

She is an incredibly gifted writer as well as chef, etc. She also took over as chef for a one Michelin star restaurant in Bangkok a short while ago until covid hit and was commuting btwn SF and BKK - at the time she had recently opened Nari (which is now doing take out) a much larger and upscale place than Kin Khao . Im sure she is well aware of the use of the greeting which is commonly used as a greeting - sort of meaning have you eaten yet - but not literally
If you want to find out about an amazing chef/woman/writer you can see some of her recent postings on twitter and her recent interview regarding the difficulty of owning/running a restaurant in these times.
